And some refuse to see what the majority of the college FB world actually sees, and you choose to close your eyes to it, but you're not alone bc the truth is sometimes really harsh, but it don't change the facts when you close your eyes, and the fact is that this coaching staff has way to many inexperienced rookie coaches on the very same team, and they don't have anybody to learn from other than each other's rookie mistakes. There is to many student coaches on our Tiger team for it to have the same success as it's had in the past!!!

For a team and coaching staff that's currently not finding ways of fixing their own mistakes, they sure do like to talk about winning future National Titles a lot these last few months. Think it's time to read the room and not bring it up for a little bit, at least publicly. But I don't disagree with Dabo there. These younger guys could win multiple titles, but there's a long way to go to clean it all up to make that achievable.

We are in great shape for 2024 season with respect to:
Offense for 2024 … OL, RB (betting that Shipley stays and Mafah goes pro) thanks to incoming recruit + development of FR RBs, WR (not kidding), TE, and QB (betting on CK2 being a very good QB and Vizzina being ready as RS-FR QB for 2024 season). PK is the big ???
Defense for 2024 … DT is set, DE should be very good, DBs are set, LBs are the big ??? for 2024.
Got to see PK get better. Remember that BT Potter was nothing special for his first TWO years.
Coaches?
W.Goodwin is a young coach who has improved enormously from his poor start to the 2022 season. I’m very pleased with him; his defense game plan for today was very good.
G.Riley still has some growing pains to go through. However, I am very pleased that he has toned down the play calls to fit what CK2 can do well. (CK2 is not very good at middle of the field routes; that is why the play calling moved more to sideline type passes in second half.)

It is strange considering that he didn't really talk about it like that when we were actually winning them. He was all about process and that titles just "happen" when you do the process right.
Now it seems like it's all about titles without mentioning process.

You want him to say we suck, I suck, we will never win again and I’m going home? In 2014 the man said after we lost to Jameis, the future national champion, at home, in a college game day night game on prime time on ABC much more embarrassing than today that if we played them 10 times we would win 5 and they would win 5. It was the same talk then about he’s crazy he’s lost it we suck again. Things have been pretty good from 2014 on. Was it the best thing to say today, probably not but he has to speak and he’s positive that’s Dabo. You don’t have to like it but the complete outrage reaction from people is equally as crazy or more than what Dabo said.

… and here’s a serious question. For all of the nay-sayers here … did you roll your eyes and laugh when Dabo took over the program and said, “We don’t want to be like anyone else’s program, we want everyone else to want to be like our program.”
Our program includes awesome opportunities, personal development, degrees for over 95% of our 4 year players, and at the same time has won many championships including 2 Nattys.
There are many prominent programs that would love to have the success, on and off the field, that Clemson has had.
Sports generally are cyclical, teams rise and fall, and we will rise again. I agree with Dabo … I think we’ll make it to the top and win at least one Natty again within the next decade.
The timeframe at which that will happen depends on “business” decisions within the program. The faster the “management” learn from our mistakes, the faster we’ll be back on a trajectory to the top again.

The Phil Mufah-RB missed QB protection led to the sack and scoop and score which resulted in a momentum swing and 10-14 point swing loss! It was the player, not the coach! Clemson played fairly well on offense most of the day.
The decision to kick a field goal late 4th quarter, was coach's decision. The lack of reliable FG kicking is on coach and recruiting. They could have been more aggressive going for a touchdown and burning clock.
The soft defense play at end of 1st half led to too a touchdown. I question that defensive play calling too. Time out before the 3rd and 19 was due to defensive play calling too.
Despite these issues, Clemson played well and the stats support it. The win was very likely until the fumble. This team and staff are a work in progress, and all is not lost. They are not elite, but not hopeless either. The college football scene is different since 2020 and the pandemic. Dabo will have to address these issues. The weekly blowouts are not as likely now so deal with it.
Conclusion is coaching, recruiting and players need to step it up. Hell, Duke is 4-0!

Need to save all these negative comments for later. Don’t think they will age well. Dabo has been doubted before and made a lot of folks look silly. I’m as unhappy about the loss as anyone but I’m starting to see real growth in this group and for the most part they’re all back next year. Still expect a decent season not great but decent and think bright days are ahead. Not sunshine pumping just see some really talented young guys starting to grow up. Better days are in our near future. Go Tigers !!

You know, on the face of it, these comments sound a little hollow, but the reality is he has to keep trying to motivate his team and keep their heads in the game. I appreciate his challenge and hope he balances that desire by making some tough calls and changes to make that a reality.

Dabo has lost his mind if he honestly believes that. I love Clemson with every fiber of my being, every atom, molecule...but Dabo has lost his touch. The play calling was terrible. He needs to fire about 6 or 7 coaches and hire proven, experienced coaches and not yoir former players and your college buddies. We're in for a long season....we could seriously lose the next 2

He might need to start worrying about a bowl game and not a National Championship. With the way this team is playing and the way the coaching staff is coaching, I see maybe 2 wins at best out of the last 8 games.

Classic example of, we won the battle and lost the war. Our immaturity, and inexperience at the most critical position on the field, QB, showed yet again. Defensively we’re playing a Stonewall game plan at the line of scrimmage but it’s not the dominant, fierce pass rush that you need to create turnovers, and cover up some of the secondary problems. You have to make the quarterback uncomfortable, the whole game. I’m not a big Goodwin fan but that being said 2024 might be our year were one year too early.

I feel like Cade will end up being good. Easy to get spoiled after DW and TL. I do think our play calling needs to be addressed. I also think we should embrace the portal. Who craps outside when we have indoor plumbing? You have to embrace the times. The teams active in the portal will be the most relevant teams imo.

I like the commitment for National Championships from Dabo . We need to improve our OL, Defense and WRs to meet that goal.
