Wow!!! If you haven't read this article yet, then read it now.
I'm so proud to have this young man commit to Clemson. He seems to have high caliber character as well as football skills. Welcome to Clemson!!! A Clemson man needs no introduction.
Go Tigers!!!

I had the same thought. All CU folks need to read this with pride for the quality of young men that are committing to Clemson. Good for you Dabo and the rest of the staff. Go Tigers. 🐅🐅🐅🐅

Those are the kind of young men that things would have to get terrible for their family financially before they would listen to any talk about we'll pay you more than Clemson can. They just don't want to hear that talk...

But did you ever have any doubts of who Clemson is and has always been. I've known what Clemson was about for at least 40 years of my 61 years as a Tiger fan, that when I felt love in my heart for everything Clemson, and that's even if we're winning or losing. I mean I absolutely hate losing, and I will get quite upset if we lose bc of a coach making bad decisions, but there is never any hate towards my Clemson Tigers!!!

“ Swinney gave a speech that lasted well over two hours, giving details about the program and life beyond football, and when those two hours were up, Beckley knew he was ready to announce his decision.”

Two hours is a very long time to talk. I can only imagine how many stories and testimonials Dabo told during that speech and how entertaining it would be. I would have to believe after that 2 hours most recruits know if this is the place and program for them or not.

Makes you want to be a Clemson man doesn’t it?

A teenage kid from Texas proves that “there is something in those hills”!

You get this kind of devotion or you go to the transfer portal and you likely get a kid filled with greed!

Clemson is different…. In a lot of great ways

Yes, "well over two hours".
Just goes to show how deeply and sincerely he cares about the program and all the athletes.

These o lineman Luke is landing feel different. Sure, we’ve had a five star here and there, sure we’ve had plenty of four stars, but these feel like legit four stars who can’t wait to play for us. (Run on sentence, I know!) It’s about time we have a proven o line coach bringing I. The right fit players! I can’t wait to see what Luke does with this bunch!

Agreed. Also the size of these guys feel different too lol.

Watching games this past year I would see the OL on teams like Georgia and Michigan and noticed how BIG some of those dudes are.

If Dabo talked to you for 2 hours, you'd sign up with Clemson, buy a house or a used car. We are lucky to have such a dynamic Clemson salesman.

I'm so glad Dabo is our head coach. I wish we could have more success on specific players in the portal, but I think if Dabo continues to focus on what's different at CU as compared to other programs that maybe we just need to do what we do well even better - recruit from HS. NIL and the transfer process needs improvements, but I wouldn't trade our head coach for anything.
