If you watch presser, he looked nervous and not happy making the NCAAT.
He still says don't know why they were so bad vs BC.
When asked even if upset about BC loss, got to be good about having some time off to rest with 9 days off, he answered i hope the players handle that well.
Also kept on saying getting to the NCAAT is real hard...

Yeah, tbh, it's nauseating for me to just listen to him. Comes across as a sales job. Still trying to make the case that we were really in last year. And trying to play down that expectation to make the tournament every year is not realistic.
It'd be like Dabo having a press conference after the regular season and talking about how hard it is to make a bowl, any bowl.

Exactly where do you think "winning is hard" came from? Dabo has chastised us with that several times and has repeated it often. I'm not a big Brownell fan but you guys are acting childish about this. You are acting like you are disappointed we actually got a bid.

They complained last year that we don’t make the NCAA Tournament enough, and now that we’ve made it (as a top 25 overall seed at that) they are now complaining about not making it enough and already talking about how bad next year will be.
These people are determined to negative about Brownell and the basketball program regardless.

If BB wants to talk about how hard it is (and admittedly there is a lot of hard work that any college athletic team and coaches put in during a season and offseason ), but if he wants to keep talking about how hard it is, then I would ask him how hard was it for NC State to make the tournament? Six ACC teams have won the national championship. NC State being one of them. But they beat the other five in five straight games over five days to win the ACC tournament! I would say that is hard!

Don't want to talk nor think about Brad until after the tourney-this is payoff time for the players' hard work and effort. The Brad discussions aren't going anywhere and I've been waiting on this for some time-not going to ruin in BY dwelling about BB in the moment. GO TIGERS!!!

Well I'm certainly not happy about the "wall" BB has been butting against for YEARS and not breaking through - every year just in or just out and in the case of last year proving the committee absolutely correct with our NIT performance. However for now we are in so we have another chance to play tournament ball and not regular season ball so let's see if we can't play with an edge and desire like we deserve to be there. The BC game looked like a July practice instead of a one-and-done scenario. BB has been a good coach when it really didn't matter but a joke in tournament play. Let's change that this year!!!

Wil never understand this fixation on our coach to the point of not wanting the team to succeed. To be honest, you CBB haters seem real similar to Finebaum's Rhodes Scholars.
I wish some psych type could explain and label this distorted pride thing.
