I just rewatched our last touchdown run in the Gator Bowl just to confirm my feeling about what finally happened there.
Maybe it is just me, but I felt like someone finally unleashed the passing offense in the last series. It was on automatic..march down and score using what turned out to be a very good and very accurate passing attack despite all the season-long complaints about not having the receiver core we need. It is probably not true, but I think someone looked at Garrett Riley and said, "Okay, prove your point have it your way."

Contrast the last drive in the Gator Bowl with the last drive against NC State. It’s like we weren’t even trying to move the ball or throw past 3 yards downfield vs NC State. I think we only threw downfield in the Gator Bowl drive because it was 3rd and whatever and then we threw downfield a couple more times before turning it over to the dozer.

Nothing since 69 & that year the ACC was so bad the coots were the ONLY team with a winning record at 7-4. NC St. was 5-5 and everyone else had a loosing record. So their turd didn't float, it just didn't sink as far as every other team's did. Go Tigers!

Or it was Clemson executing against a tired defense after the scoring flurry that broke out in the 4th quarter? However to your point, Cade looked better finding his receivers with good passes. Also, Clemson looked better running the hurry up offense most of the season, but they rarely ran it.

No, they were in hurry up mode using tempo. Dabo clearly stated that Cade performed better in tempo and that is something to consider for this coming year.

I like the up-tempo combined with a solid run game. We all know what Mafah can do. I'm hoping one of the younger backs steps in to be the breakaway run threat.

Up tempo is great unless you turn the ball over and then the D wears out. We were so turnover happy the first part of the season we had to run dud plays for the D to rest. I know hindsight is 20/20 but if we don't fumble the ball we would have won at least 2 more games this year and maybe more.
