Otherwise, let's cut those tickets in half and give the other half to high school aged kids that would LOVE to be there long before the team ran down.
NC State is about to come into town for what will likely be a play in game for the Conference Championship, and the Hill will look like an undisturbed green in Augusta from the moment the team runs down all the way to the second quarter.

Students use pretty much their entire allocation. The number on the hill is limited by the fire marshal....some how they determined the safe number for the hill. BTW, the students and the hill were electric

Are you saying that there is a limited number of people allowed on the hill before the team runs down?
My point: the hill is 20% full (at maximum) when the team runs down, and 70% full at the start of the second quarter.
Also, the athletic dept has already stated several times that many students aren't using their tickets. Do a quick Google search and you'll find the articles starting from about 5 years ago.

It was completely full to the right of the rug and about a third full on the left, how does that equal 20%? Also a student on here once mentioned that it is difficult to get onto the hill before the game especially on the left side. It has a lot more to do with the way Clemson is handling it than the students.

Are they stopping kids from sneaking in under the rails by the band? My wife and I were discussing the same thing on Saturday night....had some good times on the hill as a HS student waiting for my Clemson years.

Regardless, the sparse hill looks horrible in person, I cannot imagine what it looks like on TV.

Yes. I used to sit on the hill a lot when I was in high school but they have people standing there now to keep you from going in if you're not supposed to.

There was a huge clog at the top of the hill. Not sure the reason for it was but it was a big mass of people who were being held up by security. It actually looked kinda dangerous as the people were pretty close together in a small space. Not allowed on the hill

According to a student who once posted here about it, they quit letting students into the Hill area about 30 minutes before the game until after Clemson has made their entrance. Whatever the case, it's clear that the athletic department does not see it as an issue because they have done nothing to try and fix it over the last decade.
