And I agree pubs totally sold out and gambled on Hershel's popularity. Even if all of that is considered, many would be totally justified in voting for the less "qualified" candidate if they thought he would represent them more effectively, which is very possible.
What we should all be focused on, instead of argiung which candidate is best or most qualified, is realizing that we are all being played by being forced to choose between two horribly unfit candidates, and the system that produces that needs to be fixed.

He's buddying up with somebody who makes a living doing things in direct conflict with his supposed beliefs, beliefs he PREACHES against as a leader to other people. That makes him a willing fraud and hypocrite. Now, if you are going to argue that it's okay that he's a fraud and a hypocrite because he's not as bad as Herschel, then that's even worse. Your brand of blind partisanship is a big part of the problem, and only perpetuates the real problem, which is the acceptance of terrible people getting into office because we don't have better choices. Unlike you, my position is not partisan at all, as I have blasted Walker's candidacy all along as well.

Having sinners in the congregation is very different from endorsing the sin, which is what Warnock is doing by encouraging the endorsement of a sinner who actually promotes the sin. If you don't see the difference, then you are insane.

As a general rule, I don't like pastors and other religious leaders getting into politics, but I also have a general rule about objectively stupid people like Walker getting into politics so Georgia's election would have been tough for me to feel comfortable with either choice.
But I'm curious what makes Warnock a "fraud?"
