Crazy saban stat that flatters us

Only ONE non sec team has more than one win against Alabama in the saban era . And I think it’s clear who among the 6 teams with multiple wins against him had the “biggest stage” wins as well.

The Bama non-SEC won / lost record stat was for the Saban era, not the Dabo era.
That said, 2-3 W/L record against Bama ain’t awful against the hands-down best CFB team of The U was doing their thing starting with Schellenberger in the early 1980’s through Coker in the early part of this millenium.

Corrected kick off coverage in the season that burned us twice. Also wheel route. Tigers actually out performed Bama in 2015 title game.

Bama was offsides on their on-side kick.
If the refs called the offsides penalty, then Bama was unlikely to call another on-sides kick attempt, and even less likely to do so successfully if they made a second attempt.
Clemson wins the 2015 National Championship game if that penalty had been called.

Clemson has the best career record against Saban of all programs, and Dabo has the best record of all opposing coaches? I think this has to be true of Saban’s time at Alabama, but may get skewed by his previous stops.
Whether either of these two things are true or not, that is still an impressive place to be on that list.
