Really? Moving to the BIG 12?

I mean just look at the map.
West Virginia would be closest team to us at 8 hour car drive away...
The rest of them range from 15 to 20 hour drive...
I don't see the logic at all.
Please enlighten me...

When the travel excuse is thrown in, how many fans actually attend that many regular season away games. Talk about travel, We can't even sell out every home game.

if we can't join the sec the big 12 is the only way to go if we stay in the acc in a couple of yrs we will all be bit##** how we are left out of the mix in football. because of our allready weak conf. and there is no way in hell USuCk is going to let us in the sec. so i say until there is another option let's go big 12. GO TIGERS!

State, Duke and Wake. I have been to FSU, Va Tech and UVA three times, Maryland twice, Miami and BC once. Traveling to away games is a blast. ACC road games are for the most part fun trips - Boston, Charlottesville and Chapel Hill are probably my favorites. Wake is probably the worst trip but such an easy one for me.
If we go the Big 12, there is only one game that I see as a fun trip - UT. Away games in Kansas, Oklahoma and Iowa are non-starters for me. I spend a week in Kansas one night - miserable.

Worst trips in college football. Lawrence and Norman ain't all that either but compared to those others, they are almost interesting. Austin and Fort Worth are easily the best trips - the others make Morgantown an oasis of refined culture.

Well, that's false, but that's not our problem regardless.

I'll let Syracuse and Miami worry about that. Miami doesn't have a lot of options being nestled so far South in Florida, and Syracuse could have said "no" to the invitation. But I'm not worried about their fans, I'm worried about ours.
Anyway, Miami to Boston is farther than Miami to Syracuse (by car, per Google Maps). Lubbock to Morgantown if farther than Miami to Syracuse.
