So, I've been a Rangers fan since I was a kid. Started watching them about 1973. Suffered through many long seasons (100 loss types). Had a few good years with Pudge Rodrigues and Juan Gonzales, then a few great years with Josh Hamilton and crew that lost a heart breaking World Series to the Cards.
This years team led the division for 160 games only to crumble in the end and lose it to the Astros.
Their ability to bounce back from that kind of disappointment is remarkable and shows a lot of heart.
I think Scherzer is going to get back in the rotation for Game 3 or 4 of this series, which will give us Montgomery/Eovoldi/Scherzer as out top 3. Combined with a pretty potent offense, I like our chances. The bullpen is still worrisome but has held up so far.

My employer owns the box suite directly behind home plate at Globe Life. I’m not high enough on the chain to get tickets but see familiar faces when watching Rangers games. I’m a longtime Braves fans but pulling for the Rangers to win it all.

Same here. Rangers fan since going to scheduled double headers in those hot ### bleachers in old Arlington Stadium. I wouldn't just stop at Scherzer at 3, I'd roll Dunning out there for game 4. He's been solid this year and finally figured out how to get his WHIP down, which was always his Achilles heel and stopped him from going deep in games. I'm actually not as concerned with the bullpen as I normally would've been with all the starters we've transitioned there in Heaney, Perez, and Bradford, but I don't want to see Chapman on consecutive days again, and really surprised we haven't called on Stratton once yet.
