Question about Syracuse block from behind

Is the Syracuse block on our CB that helps the RB avoid a 4-5 yard loss legal? What's the rule about when you can hit someone from behind (and below the waist?) like what you see in the video?

I agree. Block in the back is what I would say it was.
lol right in front of the official at the point of attack in the open field.
How did that guy miss the call?

It may have been a different play, but I remember an almost identical situation at some point in the game where they did throw a flag.

Or I could just be crazy, post-Fall Break tests are eating my lunch today.

Went back and watched the full replay, there was a penalty called for an illegal block in the back on that play.
