I watched a video once about Leach and his fascination with Pirates. At WSU he had his entire office decorated with Pirate stuff. He is definitely a classic.

Trying to separate fact from rumor.

Surfing the net this morning.
Fact: Leach in in the hospital. MSU issued a non-definite statement about his condition. I took it as the health situation is very severe.
Rumor: Leach had a heart attack. Leach was coded at least twice last night. Leach has Chronic Heart Failure and was planning on retiring after the bowl game.
I repeat, that last paragraph was RUMOR taken from an MSU message board. There are other rumors out there even more severe than those.
I suspect we will hear something official a little more definite from MSU today. But, right now, Leach and his family need prayers.

"chronic heart failure" is more commonly known as "Congestive Heart Failure". It is indeed VERY serious, several in my family have died from it. Prayers for Coach Leach to recover from this latest acute attack, if that is the case. His long term prognosis would not be good, even so.

He is a football genius, managing the offense during a game only using a 3x5 card. But his interviews are the best. Funny and smart.

Don't forget him peeing on the dog. I have read "Swing Your Sword" several times and always bust out laughing at this story. That's all you get guys, buy and read "Swing Your Sword". It is well written and definitely worth the time.
