Listen idiots it's a freaking game. I hate this as much as anyone. But one life lost due to weather is not worth it. Safety for all fans should be first priority.

I agree that if you aren't staying in Clemson somewhere don't chance it. You still get the same effects from a tropical storm as a hurricane. Your house may not fall but trees and signes in the road and hydro plainting does still occur. Safety for my grandmother does come first. You can call me a pansy all you want.

has been played in torrential rain, sleet and snow since it was conceived. And fans have attended these games.
Do you know something the rest of us don't about how fragile our fans are compared to those who go to games in blizzrd conditions, hurricane conditions, and other harsh weather environments? Are we such dolts taht we can't be trusted to risk our own lives to travel to a game?
If you're scared, stay home. Let others enjoy life.
Good lord, the snivelling doomsday poofs of modern day society.
I'm surprised you even use a computer - you know it could short out, shock and kill you?

I'm driving from Charleston today. We're staying upstate. Wouldn't dream of driving back after the game even in the best circumstances.
Folks have to be smart. If you don't have a place to stay after the game, you should reconsider attending since the weather will certainly cause driving hazards.

No one has to go to the game! If you don't think you can get here safely don't come and enjoy it at home. Nothing wrong with that. If you live near flood prone roads stay home! It's not that hard. Let those of us can get to Clemson safely go and cheer and get soaked.

Clemson officially posted the game is on unless the authorities say other wise. I'll be packing my Tahoe tonight and we'll be unpacking it at Clemson tomorrow morning. my 12 yr old son and will be perfectly content watching the game in the rain.
If the authorities decide it is unsafe then it is unsafe then it will be cancelled. I'll be perfectly content of it is, my son will be upset.
I remember sitting through all the Boston college lightning delays a few years ago and the only time I got angry was the next day listening to mickey plywood tell everyone he was the world's expert on lightning.

My 12 year old son will be with me as well. He can't wait to sit in the rain and watch football. We've told him stories about how much fun Dad and I had at the 2002 GT game sitting in the stands getting hammered by the rain. The water coming down the steps in the stadium was like a waterfall.
***Disclaimer: I don't recommend that folks take the stadium steps in waterfall conditions. Use caution and step at your own risk.

I've been going to every home Clemson game since I was three with my grandmother and still do. She is now 82 years old with two metal knees has a hole in her heart and has damentia. She has to stop to take a break ever twenty feet that is walked.... She is determined to always drive and you will get knocked upside your head if you ask to take the wheel... In that situation it is best to be safe. The word is we will be getting 10 inches of rain. A tropical storm isn't just "rain" my tiger friends. So.... Would you chance that scenario?

what about a typical Green Bay or New England game in December?
The nannies on here are just embarrassing.

The nfl is considering canceling games. Miami has cancelled games in the past for weather reasons.
Clemson has played in heavy rain. Clemson will continue to play in heavy rain.
If it gets postponed, cancelled, or moved it will not be just because of a little rain.
It won't be because people are pansies.
