Yes, Clemson lost by ONLY two points, but a loss is still a loss. Coach Brownell is crying like a baby that the game was taken from him. How about the last 13 years of never beating Duke? He seems to make excuses for losing. A great coach never blames others for his failures. He has sabotaged the Clemson program for 14 seasons now, and he has kept them in "middle of the road" status for a long time. He needs to look at himself in the mirror. That won't happen, and the AD needs to see this. Coach Bakich (Clemson baseball) said something quite interesting a few days age. He mentioned that all the pieces for
his are in place, and that he said we have "no excuses" for failing. This sounds like a real coach. You will never hear BB say that, because he's too busy MAKING EXCUSES. I knew Bakich was a good hire when The Tigers got him. They have Louisville next, who is the worst coached team in the ACC. This should be a gimme for Brownell. If he loses this game at home, Neff ought to fire him on the spot on the court after the game.

Clemson beat Duke at LJ last season. Brownell has never won at Durham just like Shyatt and Purnell.

Yeah, but Purnell had to endure the game where Clemson had the game won in Durham and the officials put three seconds back on the clock so Duke could make the winning basket at the buzzer. That was Purnell’‘s game. Worst hose job in the history of Clemson sports.

Brownell is similar to Shyatt and Purnell: 2 middle of the road coaches. The last decent basketball coach that Clemson has had was Mike Barnes(that was back in the late 1990s before he went to Texas) The Tigers have not had any solid BB coaches since then.

Ummm…. We lost to Duke by 1 point, not 2. That along with you not knowing Rick Barnes first name leads me to believe you may not really know much about Clemson basketball in general?

Been a fact for as long as I can remember you gonna get screwed by refs when you play at puke or tarholes. Clemson not the only ones. Sometimes teams overcome it.

It wouldn't surprise me if we lose to Louisville. It's going to be hard for them to stop thinking about Duke. Heck, I'm kind of still thinking about it myself. This could be another Morehead State type of deal. Hopefully, Brad will have them ready.
