Coots said we paid players to get on top. Now it appears the Spring has run dry! Yet none of them stop to consider that the premise of Newspring was false to begin with. Yes (per coot fans), we paid back then, but we had no competition paying for players and life was easy. Now we can't afford players since anyone can outbid us and we are poor. "University of Second Chance" should really be called "University of Low IQ".

Some evangelicals love em a former ‘bad boy’ turned pastor with graphic tees, tats, backward ball cap, and a sob story. They just love to help these guys build big houses and buy fancy cars for some reason. Steven Furtick (and wife Holly) are our local grifters here in the Charlotte area.

He’s originally from Moncks Corner. Don’t get why people get into seeker churches, it’s beyond obvious they’re just about money. Their church buildings look like a Walmart or a Target shopping center. Furtick and Noble are friends

You don’t like for people to worship God?
Furtick makes most of his money from book sales and royalties on his music that he writes.. so because He is a pastor you think He is not due the money like say Chris Stapleton or any rap artist or John Grisham is for theirs? No you just don’t like for anyone to Worship God or include him in their lives.

So Furtick is God now? Gotcha. I don't know Chris Stapleton is tbh, but I think leaders of a church should live a pius life not an extravagant one like you see being posted on Instagram and such. But it takes all sorts. Argue all you want dude is a hustler and grifter still. Not just him mind but most of your televangelists too, Joel (learn to swim) Osteen etc as well.

where Jesus says not to build up earthly treasures, or the one that states it’s easier for a Camel to fit through the eye of the needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God, or the one that tells you to drop all your earthly possessions and follow Jesus. Seeker churches completely contradict these statements by Jesus
I’m no perfect person and do a lot of sinning, but I will point out corrupt churches that contradict the teachings of Jesus. The teachings of Jesus are all there in his sayings recorded in the Gospels

I grew up in the Fort Mill area during the height and eventual downfall of PTL…so I know a good grift when I see one. I was in high school and worked minimum wage jobs with people who uprooted their entire family to move to Fort Mill/Rock Hill to be closer to PTL…only to eventually find they ruined their lives by giving all their money to one of your self declared ‘Anointed ones’.
Who gets to decide who is one of God’s Anointed? Just plant your flag and make a declaration? No…I don’t think that’s how it works. My pastor drives a beater and lives hand to mouth. I’d consider him much more worthy of heaven than those that enrich themselves by taking advantage of the trusting nature of their congregation.
He’s no Joel Olsteen or Kenneth Copeland…but give him time…

The people making the accusations are making them based on the fact that they think those men got their money by being Charlatans or thieves.
They did not make any comments on what Steven Furtick preaches because they don’t know.
I make my assumption about them because if they were following Jesus they may question Furticks theology and disagree with it but they would not make baseless accusations and lies!! Yes I know all about the pastor from New Spring and I do not agree with all of his methods at theology but I myself have experienced forgiveness and restoration and I am thankful for it and God offers it Perry Noble just like He did me and you!

That is scripture that you have quoted but it is possible for a rich man to enter Heaven and some camels did bend down and go though the eye of the needle( the smaller opening at the city gate.
They had to unpack their burdens to do it but they did do it.

I have no idea what the church pays him nor Do I care but I would bet you He makes his money from book sales and royalties from His music.

I live in Rock Hill and there are Elevation churches all around here including Rock Hill. I’ve visited several locations around here and like it but don’t go anywhere on a regular basis. I think he makes his sermon’s interesting. BUT I know people around here that think it’s a cult 😳. I have also read an article from the Charlotte observer that says no one in the congregation knows what Furtick’s salary is. It’s secretive and only he and one other employee know how much it is. Why is the question?? If it was a small salary he wouldn’t mind if anyone knew!!! It is probably tremendous. I do think some people admire him so much it’s like he’s a celebrity. Strange indeed.

Might be the same article I read several years ago. Stated the church is governed by a group chosen outside of the membership. Most mainline baptist and presbyterian churches chose the deacons/elders by vote of the members who are provided income and expense statements at least annually and also vote on next year's budget. Otherwise the members have no input or knowledge how their donations are used.
