Can’t think of anything worse than Clemsongoing to the Big 10 and playing teams I care nothing about. Then there’s the October snowstorms in Minnesota and Illinois. And the Pennsylvanians that put cheddar cheese on apple pie. That alone is a disqualifier.

I would like to know what you are basing your comment about Iowa on? I have family that are Iowa fans, actually had a cousin play for them several yrs ago. I have not gone to football game but I have gone to wrestling tournaments for Big 10 on Iowa campus and there were more people there than our typical basketball attendance but I have never seen anything from their fans.
The Iowa fans have been humble the ones I have been around. Now Ohio St fans are obnoxious. Always think they are better than they are and definitely not humble. They seem to be very similar to Coots in their fandom.

When I replied I hadn't noticed they were left off so it went over my head. I was amazed someone said Iowa, notice I didn't say you were wrong, just curious how got there.

forgiven!have never been to iowa or indiana,let alone their fb games.probably very good fan bases.to my knowledge,the only person i know from iowa is corporal radar o'reilly from ottumwa.i do have a nock on indiana though for having stolen my colts from baltimore.

I don't know what it is about Iowa but the wrestling community seems to come together in hatred of them. If you've ever been to the NCCA finals tournament you'll hear the entire arena erupt in unison when an Iowa wrestler loses. One might think it's based on Iowa's success, but if that were true Oklahoma State would get the same treatment - they have more national wrestling championships then anyone.

Election! It seemed like even George McGovern's own mother didn't vote for him. There was one young Democrap Assistant Professor who did, though. He showed up in class wearing a McGovern pin, and caught endless grief over it. Too bad Forrest Gump had to come along and screw things up for Tricky D!ck.

When not living amongst the heathens up there it's Ohio St. By a Mile. While living amongst the heathens, just outside of Pittsburgh, even prior to joining the Big 10, it was Penn St. During the late 80s early 90s I lived with that every day. Didn't matter that the my Tigers had just smoked their butts in the 88 Citrus Bowl 35-10 and that being the only meeting ever. Yeah, middle school and first 2 years of HS were difficult. To make matters worse those few that were not PSU blowhard were rabid Notre Dame fans (probably 2nd in population) then Pitt (while some remembered them being relevant) and oddly enough a lot of Michigan fans. All of the OSU fans were across state lines, thankfully.
This is why my SCHOOLS TO HATE List is populated by that region..

2 Georgia (I live 25 min from campus and even though I went there)

4 Penn st
5 ND (a lot has to do with the best HS QB I've ever seen live in person in HS Ron Powlus)
6 NCST (Despise that kunt HC of theirs)

9 Syracuse (only bowl game I've ever gone to 95/96 Gator McNabb/Harrison brutality)
