Yesterday, I was already in a good mood, as I was looking forward to sipping good bourbon on whiskey Wednesday, and then I was surprised as I spotted a Tiger paw as I was pulling up to the joint. Then, inside, one of the owners had on a Clemson Tee.

A 20-something year-old young man was speaking with the owners. They all seemed excited, but I didn't get an opportunity to get the intel on the Clemson connection. But don't you worry, I'll definitely be going back.

Their pulled pork barbecue is right up there with the best I've ever had. The smoked chicken is also quite good. I have yet to try any of their other meats.

As for sides, the baked beans and potato salad are good. The mac & cheese and collard greens are okay, but for full disclosure, I come from a family that makes mac & cheese and collard greens so good they will "make you slap yo mama", so my standards might be higher than most. lol

ResQ is located in Leesburg, VA a Northern Virginia suburb west of Washington, DC.

Seeing the paw here is exciting for me because I bleed orange and it is somewhat rare to see.

I see the Hokies logo more than anything else.
