Neutral site TV revenue.

For the GOR fact checkers, do ACC teams share revenue from neutral site games (non-post-season) or only home games? I believe it is only home games…… Hmmm….

Could the Noles be thinking about playing their home games in Jacksonville? loophole?

I think it depends on the designation of the game prior to moving to a neutral site. My assumption is the contract garantees ESPN X number of ACC games per year. If you move one of the garanteed games to a neutral site ESPN still has the broadcast rights. If you move a non-ACC road game then those rights are based on the opposing team's contract. This is why the ACC/B1G/P12 alliance was thought to be about a scheduling agreement. The only way to bring TV partners back to the table is to guarantee additional big matchups each season even if it is only 4-6 games a year.

But the seminoles are not in contract with the broadcaster espn, they are in contract with the acc. What the acc’s contract says with espn is not relevant. If #1 fsu is no longer a member of the acc, and #2 they have no home games, do they have to share their neutral site game revenue with the acc? It is only what the GOR says that FSU signed. Does the grant of rights define home games and post season games as the broadcasts/copyrights, etc that have been granted? That is the question.

Great idea. Just move the games to Jacksonville. Very sustainable...
