National day for cancer thrivers

15

Jun 11, 2023, 11:39 AM

First I know we have lost many friends and loved ones to cancer. For that I am sorry and are who this disease has taken from us all.

Turning the page, as I spent time with my son this week I remember finding out he had cancer and him in remission now I am thankful. To all those who have survived and are thriving, today is your day to celebrate!!!

Those who are suffering may prayers be answered and do not give up hope!!

Glad to hear about your son and his recovery. I have lost mom and dad to cancer.

My best friend in the world is struggling now with it and hope is dim, but your post gives hope and I hope to see him recover and thrive

Thanks brother and be safe traveling back

Since 1998, I have cancer 7 times. It is 95% fatal within 5 years of diagnosis, but in 2002 a new drug was introduced that has kept me alive. I'm now on a cancer trial at NIH and they have absolutely saved my life. I am more that blessed and grateful!
