That he would be sitting out the rest of the season to preserve his redshirt. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a starter turn down PT especially after getting a couple big wins.

It’s nothing like the NFL, the NFL has salary caps and rules. These kids aren’t going to make it in the NFL with the mindset developing in CFB.

He asked the coaching staff to redshirt him, I believe. So there is a distinction there.

Yeah that’s a little different imo, KJ was a depth guy who didn’t want to lose a year. This kid won the job, got some big wins, then just gave it up.

Yeah he’s the only one I can think of that asked for it as well, but I don’t thing I’ve ever seen a starter shut it down like this. Wouldn’t be shocked at all if he announces he’s entering the portal

Dorean is so well liked such a nice demeanor I'm surprised he didn't politely tell the kid to play or withdraw from school. Maybe I'm wrong ( been before) but it's probably 90% set that Morris already has his next school and NIL deal set.

by bringing in Brennan Armstrong and hiring Armstrong's former coach Robert Anae to be their offensive coordinator, so I'm not surprised if he's looking elsewhere. He probably wishes he could have redshirted last year, since he only played in 5 games.

Kid had all sorts of issues like this in HS. I believe he transferred HS twice. Was considered a highly rated recruit, and had a lot of teams back off of him bc of his handler father. Apparently his family is all over twitter acting a fool as well.
