Location, location, location.
USC in LA is going to make wayyyy more sense for music production than Clemson.
I love Clemson but Clemson, SC isn't going to have more music related stuff going on than LA -- that's just reality.
Clemson is also not close enough to ATL to benefit either since that's a 2 hr one way trip.
If MU were all in for Football we'd have the advantage but he wants to also be a music producer and if he is successful on the field he'll have doors open (if not already) should he attend USC.

Totally agree, he has not been mentioned in our recruiting efforts for quite some time. His interests always seemed to have been on the West coast. Also, he seems to be closer to Big Dave, while Big Dave's interest in Clemson (& DJ) also seems to have faded for quite some time! Internal conflicts between the Uiagalelei parents may have also had an impact on both of their sons as well. Just MHO. Hope the best for all the Uiagalelei's as they find their way!

Didn’t Big Dave publicly complain about Clemson’s coaches not paying him enough attention? Seemed like that ship had sailed a while back.
And if he does have an interest in the entertainment industry, you can’t get farther away from that than Clemson. USC seems like the best fit across the board.
Dude is a stud. I’ve seen him play 7v7 and he’s an incredible athlete for his size. Probably could be a top TE if he wanted.

The music angle is a ruse as he took visits to Ohio and Bama among others not big in the music scene. Apparently Dabo pulled back because he had enough of Dave or perhaps they were asking for something we were unwilling to give. Dabo tried to let the recruitment die a quite death but Dave called Clemson out on twitter for not showing them enough attention. Apparently DJ got involved asking them to just move on and not disrespect Clemson.
