Coach said in one of his post game press conferences that Tallent is working back from some soreness. About 1-2 weeks away. Left open the possibility he would be back this weekend but didn't sound likely.

Is Tallent out for year?
CASEY HAD TO HAVE HIS LABRUM SURGERY REDONE IN JANUARY I THINK IT WAS. HE IS OUT FOR THE YEAR OF COURSE.

TigerNet has concerns with our pitching staff every year, no matter what. We had a top 20 ERA in the country last year and still received criticism every week.
For what its worth, I think we are in a much better spot this year than last year on the mound.

Is Garris hurt. Haven’t seen him pitch yet. He was one of our best relievers at the end of last year.

It’s so early, we are just working out some kinks. We do have to find another weekend starter, and hopefully someone can solidly the midweek role as well because Barlow and Gordon definitely look suspect so far!! Really would love it if one of them could settle into it!! But bull pen looks sharp! As well as knack and smith! Of course Darden is dealing and Mathew Marchal has an impressive strike out numbers (9 in 5 innings to just 2 earned runs in two appearances!!!)
