I've watched more golf the past two weeks than in the past two years combined...or since he won the John Deere in '21.
An aside, but it seems the game within the game; i.e., the tournament and the playoff rankings, adds a LOT to watching. PGA needs to figure out how to add some element of that throughout the year. Perhaps go the route of minor league ball and split the seasons...or something. It's really fun to watch this playoff unfold. Of course, Lucas blasting his way from 189 to 3 in a matter of weeks doesn't hurt this Tiger!

Wouldn’t it be great if he could win today, finish strong the next 2 weeks and make the Ryder Cup team? I’d have to think he will be discussed as a captain’s choice if he is close to qualifying.

Congratulations to Alice on a nice 68 -4 round. She ends up -1 for the tournament. Keep in mind, Alice was +8 after her first 8 holes. What could have been.... she played the 12 par 5's at 25%.
She'll end up probably making more than winning a normal LET tournament.
Jacob. another 3 putt bogey on the 6th. Granted, conditions were rough yesterday and apparently again today, there's a few that have good scores. Most have attacked the first 6 holes. Jacob yet to make a birdie abd hasn't played the par 5's particularly well... frustrating because after his amazing round Friday, I felt this was his tournament to win. He still can, but he needs to get moving in the right direction.
And Jacob just 3 putted the par 5 for par. Back to back 3 putts and he was just off the green on the first par 5 and failed to get up and down. He's now down to 5th and took a major hit to kft standing. Even par since Friday. Smh.
He needs to get the feel of hoisting a trophy. But, he really most likely just needs a top 3 to get his card for next year.

Dang, didn't know it'd be that close. Just about equal to her ytd earnings. Ummm Alice, hopefully this let's you know A. You can compete with the best in the world, and B. You need to play lpga full time. Tough decision since the fams are so close. In due time. God is your guide.
I doubt it'll happen, but I hope Clemson does an interview highlighting the "eye of the Tiger" spirit. Most would have cashed it in and not made the cut. Jmho of course.
Now come on Jacob, you're making me too nervous... especially since we can't watch Lucas yet? Jacob another 3putt bogey. He's now only projected 2 spots up. He's blowing it. Never seen him make so many 3putts. He's had 6 for the tournament.
Play at 320 pm est.

after stumbling all day, he managed to birdie his final two holes to end up in sole possession of 4th Place . . . In the Standings he moved from 29th Place to 17th Place.
Where does everyone think Lucas needs to finish to WIN today? I’m thinking 18 Under . . . but who knows??? I’m scared of Cantlay the most.

Yeah, definitely a stellar round on Friday to put himself in position for the weekend. Gosh, one of those 3 putts cost him a t3 and 7 spots in the rankings. He is no doubt in much better shape than he was on Wednesday. It should be enough to secure his card... barring something bizarre. Several dropped 6 or 7 spots missing the cut.

I don't know if Jacob is a mathematical lock for the Top 30 yet, but I definitely feel better about his chances. At a minimum, he has guaranteed himself an exemption into all four of the final KFT events.
