over the past few weeks of the movement of recruits in and out commit decommit hitting the portal even though they are starters on power 5 teams that big money is ruling the day in college football. I would not be surprised that some of these 5 stars headed to Texas Oklahoma Texas A&M and LSU are not going to end up with their own oil wells. I don’t blame the kids mostly growing up with nothing for grabbing all this money they can. It is the adults in the room that should never have allowed this system to come about. Some of these large corporations such as Adidas are now choosing a team to back and fund. Maybe we can talk BMW and Michelin to find Clemson’s Nil. For someone who has loved college football for over 60 years I’m becoming quickly sick to my stomach with it.

Georgia was 1, Bama 2. Same ole same ole. Miami definitely came out of nowhwere though at 4. They are paying some serious loot.

Yes, it is a tribute to Dabo his staff and Clemson U that they pulled in a #11 class in such an environment that they are operating with. It is a tribute to these kids that many were probably offered large sums of money to elsewhere that they wanted to play for Dabo and Clemson U. We need to support these kids.

This one and Seaton's decision to wait to sign his NLI were the ones that got me. Seaton JUST "committed" to Colorado on like the 7th or 8th of this month. Oh, and the ever shady Peter Pettigrew down at Auburn saying coaches are doing things that are outside of his comfort zone. How bad does it have to be for Hugh Freeze to say it's icky? Hugh. Freeze. Good grief.

You are so far off base that is it pathetic. There are 65 or so Power 5 football teams so do you really believe that every recruit at every school and every player on every team are paid big bucks? Wow, how naive can you get.

Err…no. What we believe is that, all else being equal, any player will take the MOST HE CAN GET from a given school. He will eventually hit his ceiling and take the best offer.
Hence the term “bidding war”
