Im not ready to give up on Adam Randall yet

There is one thing that I am frustrated with him about: he waits on the ball to come to him instead of adjusting his route or adjusting his body to go up and get it! He needs to adjust his mindset to “attack the ball” !! Once he figures this out he will be the force we all have thought him to be. Maybe he does this in practice and for whatever reason it hasn’t clicked in the game. Maybe this is who he was before the injury and he just hadn’t gotten it back yet. Whatever the reason, I trust Dabo to push the right buttons with him. I think he will eventually emerge, but maybe allowing Stellato to take more of his reps will light a fire under him.

I hope so. Never seems to separate. Maybe his day is coming.

There are plenty of WRs with less than burning speed. It’s about matchups and getting open. He has the rest of the season to get the light to come on. If not, he will be #2-3 next year and looking elsewhere, having been highly rated in HS. Right now he seems to run to defenders and seems easy to tackle - not a good combo. He is still young. Anything can happen. He needs to grab this opportunity by the ears and I hope he does.

He seems slow to me. I have not seen him with the ball in open space to compare speeds but I think that is indicator that DBs can easily keep pace with him.
I have had high hopes for AR and still hope he puts it together but I am starting to wonder where he is lacking in skill up to this point.

Unfortunately I believe he will be the first member of this year's team to enter the portal.

I was so excited to see him last year after the injury

I thought he was going to be a game changer. Then i told myself all year well Amari was a step slow coming back from his injury he needs a full spring being healthy. At this point he is just to slowwwww. I honestly think he’s playing the wrong position. He needs to be a tight end. He’s def not a WR he just has no speed at all. I’m so glad to see Stellato taking snaps from him and finally producing something from the WR position. When the other WR’s can produce too everyone opens up and we saw that yesterday

One thing I do notice is, a lot of times when we do go his way, it draws a lot of flags. If nothing else keep using them on the Deep ball and one-on-one situations

Brown Williams Collins snd Stellato need to be on the field as much as possible. Maybe Adam needs to bulk up and become a tight end. I hear he is not completely happy with Clemson at this point. He needs to earn his way on the field and so far I don’t think you can trust him in a crucial situation. Hope he gets his head on right as he could be a good player

No reason to give up on him. He just isn't ready now. He has a lot of work to do. He isn't starting material yet.

I am. We have already shown we have several better options.

None of them, other than Collins, have his size, but the ball doesn't know who is catching it.
Or in Randall's case, who is NOT catching it.

He's WR5 and will be leaving after the season

The knee injury last year probably ruined his college career. Seems clear after the last 5 games he doesn't have the juice to work his way up the depth chart.
If he decides to stay at Clemson, I'll cheer for him just like everyone else. At this point, he may not even be able to get a scholarship elsewhere. But that reality doesn't seem to stop young men from risking it all because they want to search for a destination that might offer more opportunity.
