Arizona is truly a balanced threat. We have to have a lights out game from post and perimeter players to handle them.

Both valid points, but after having two bad games, yet still beating two good teams (remember, everyone was picking NM), I am less concerned about this team going forward WITHOUT huge contributions from PJ.
Also wondering how easy this weekend would have been with PJ getting his usual numbers?

have shot very poorly. We've played solid D overall, but NM shot under 30% overall and 3-23 from 3, and Baylor wasn't a whole lot better at 38.9% from the floor and 6-24 from 3. Alot of those missed 3s were open shots that they just missed.
Hopefully Arizona will have an equally poor shooting night against us.

Agreed. We played good defense but New Mexico and Baylor shot poorly even when wide open. Was a blessing!

Least we didn’t have to cheat to win like Alabama did against Charleston. Clemson needs to play College of Charleston every year. UNC and USC not afraid to play C of C so Clemson shouldn’t be.

Not to mention this program has historically hit a wall with the sweet 16. We’ve been there twice that I can remember, and bombed out both times. I will be pumped if we make it to the elite 8

They had a tough game against Dayton, which has tons of raw athlete guys, but they’re definitely one of the most formidable teams in the country when they’re on.

That's all on pj. He needs to realize this team doesn't need him to win. That should be freeing to him. Stop overdoing it. Brad called him a effing baby at some point on sideline. And that's true.

He seems to be pressing and trying to showcase for the next level. He just needs to relax and let the game come to him. He’s going to get his shots and his points but just needs to be a bit more patient.

He's carried us all year. Had a bad game but everyone stepped up. We grew the lead with PJ and Schef on bench.

Valid concern. While they're not "giants", Godfrey and Clark can oftentimes hold their own. We saw that yesterday.

Godfrey was a bull in a china shop last year, now he has been developed into a quality player to give both of our big men a break. Clark is a very underrated player. He is outstanding on defense, a good passer and comes up with a big bucket when we need it. Sorry we only have him for one year.

The Ballo kid is a load at Center. Moves a little bit like Burns for NC State.
Hall needs to have his best game in tourney by far, and stay out of foul trouble.

I am certainly no expert but after reviewing the game Hall, has a big target on his back. Of the 5 called on him by my count only 3 were clearly on him. the other 2 should have been no calls. On the other hand Hall was fouled multiple times that were not called.
Another thing one should take notice of is, in both games that our opponents were in the bonus situation for extended periods of time in the second half of each game.

PJ's number one objective in this game has got to be to finish with less than 3 files for the entire game. He's too valuable to us offensively to go out there and get a bunch of cheap fouls on defense or offensive fouls. Just pull back a little bit in those situations. You can get more aggressive as the game gets late.
