I don't see that happening either. If any teams leave, it would likely be the old Big East teams. FSU is ready to become a big fish again and I just don't see the charter ACC members bailing anytime soon. Just my 2 cents.

All speculation is just that. Something to get people to click on their articles.

Where would the old Big East teams go? No one wants their mess. They have all sunk since joining the ACC with the exception of Pitt's title in 21.

I think it’s a real possibility. I effing hope so. Let’s get into one of the premier conferences and away from tobacco road. Clemson and FSU are like cousins that fight but need to have each other’s back avery once in a while.

IF Tigers & Noles - B1G less likely than SEC to invite us

Neither Clemson nor FSU are AAU (American Association of Universities) schools. The overall academic standards are higher at AAU schools are higher than non-AAU schools.

B1G schools are all AAU schools. This is not some random coincidence.

(*). If there is enough monetary allure for B1G schools to start adding non-AAU schools, then Clemson and FSU might get a look. However, the B1G conference is making money on par with the SEC. The B1G therefore, in the present, more than monetarily capable of competing with the SEC.
