Yeah I'm not exactly sure what in the world happened but the blown coverages resulting in wide open receivers is crazy

Those two were on Goodwin and the DB coaches. They weren’t prepared for the play and were busts. But overall yes bad DB play.

That one was on Carter. Other busts have mainly been Lewis. He's only playing since Wiggins opted ot.

We have 2 scholarship DBs… this is their first game playing together. They’ll be fine

They'll get better. Even Terrell, Booth, Wiggins, etc were not blowing anyone's doors off as freshman
It was a tall order for Goodwin to field great secondary play today with all the tranfers/injuries/opt-outs

They will be.
We were running Zone most of the day because our subs-turned-starters aren't yet ready to play Man across the board.
There's a huge difference in filling in for Wiggins, Makuba, et al for a couple plays as opposed to doing it for a whole game. K's OC did great in his attacking scheme there in the second half.
Those moments will grow up Sheldon Lewis and others very quickly.
