draft, yet they finished 8-5 and 40th in the nation in 2022. This is not a good look for Beamer now that the last of Spurrier's players are gone. Their 2021 class ranked 56th in the nation, and 12 players from this last cycle have yet to enroll, along with 8 transfers that other teams obviously did not want.

I am seeing an obvious downward trajectory here.

Spurrier went 11-2 in 2011, 2012, and 2013.

They were dang lucky for 2 wins and maybe 3. Luck won't be on their side this tear plus their schedule is tougher. Beamer's honeymoon will be over and commits will defect to elsewhere. Back to where they once were. Women's BB will drop off considerably due to graduation and pro declarations. Men's BB will not be good. Baseball will have a pretty severe drop off also. So the next year of gamecock athletics will not be good.
