Slow cooker corn beef and cabbage with Irish whiskey (Tullamore D.E.W.) after day of golf. The whiskey, good. The corn beef, bad. Cooked eight hours. Maybe not long enough?

Tonight we had a grown up foodie version of goulash. Ground bison with Barilla spiral pasta, fire roasted diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, multi colors of bell peppers, roasted garlic paste, artichoke hearts, and onion with extra sharp cheddar and sour cream as garnish. Washed down with a glass of Eagle rare on the rocks.
