How about Alice. Cards a 3under to get to +2 for the tournament and the cut has moved to +2. It'll probably wobble but tons of confidence if she slips in. She's -6 over her last 27 holes. Skrong. That birdie on 18 yesterday was huge. Not many will survive being +8 at the turn on day 1. Gutty comeback either way.
Well, our gal is getting closer. Still too early to call.
Lucas - the man has had 2 beautiful saves (6, 7 foot par putts) and rolled in a 32 footer for birdie. Go Tigers and Go Lucas!!!!

How do you show Glover's shot to set up an eagle opportunity...then not say one word, nor show his effort, from that point on? No, let's watch Ricky doink about the pines and Jordan chip from the fringe...or, or...ooh, wait...let's see Rahm scuffle. That's entertainment! (I do like Rahm, but come on)

Lucas has made 3 putts in the neighborhood of 30’ today . . . 2 for birdies, one for an eagle . . . Just wait until he starts hitting his approach shots closer!!! Unreal how well he is getting it around since changing the putter and stroke!!! This is FUN!!!!!!!

as he closed his Second Round . . . Shooting a “clean card” 6 Under today has him currently in 1st Place by a single shot . . . We’ll see if it holds as others finish . . . Nevertheless, when today ends, he’ll be within striking distance!!!

I love what Lucas is accomplishing--it's amazing. But, Alice making the cut in a turnaround is right up there. I'm happy for her!

Alice didn’t just make “a cut” . . . Alice made “The Cut” in the last Women’s Major of the Season . . . The AIG Women’s Open is what we use to call The Women’s British Open. The Purse for this Event is one of the Highest the Women play for . . . US $9,000,000.00 . . . with the Winner getting US $1,350,000.00 . . . last place will make over US $10,000.00 .
Alice is well respected by her peers and competes well on the Ladies European Tour . . . She makes a LOT of Cuts over there.
Alice is 21st on the LET Current Money List (€151,849.74)
Alice is 15th on their Race to Costa del Sol (743.80)
Alice is 14th in Solheim Cup Points (91.50)
Alice is NOT Chopped Liver . . . She competes WELL overseas!!!
Making a Cut is not unusual to her . . . Making it after shooting 8 OVER PAR on her Opening 9 Holes in a Major??? . . . That is RARE on ANY Tour Event, much less a Major.
Not picking on you at all . . . What she has done in the last Round and a half IS remarkable . . . Hence, the “Tip of the Cap” earlier.

@ The Pinnacle Bank Championship . . .
Our TIGERS have started their 2nd Rounds well after play was Suspended due to weather:
Jacob, starting on Hole #10, is 3 Under at the turn in spite of having a double bogey on the Par 3, 13th Hole!!! He sits @ 8 Under for the Tournament, just 2 shots off the Lead.
Sam, starting on Hole #1, is 2 Under through 8 Holes with a “clean card” . . . He is 3 Under for the Tournament and currently sits in a T-42nd Place.
Enjoy your afternoon TIGERS . . . Crisp and Straight will help that feeling!!!
(BTW - Lucas’ Lead held up as all others finished @ The FedEx St Jude Championship!!!)

You said it before. The fun is in the winning. This is FUN. We've had some pretty darn good golfers come through Lil ole Clemson tigertown. Granted, only a decade for our women so they're just starting to filter to the pros.
We've got some pretty darn good golfers on our current teams. And some gooduns on the way. We are truly blessed because every one of them are down right better people.
