Given David Hood article this morning on our WR's...

I'm now wondering if The Chad is here solely to learn Garrett Riley's offense so he can then go out and find a new job elsewhere as an OC.
I don't see this as a long term stay for him. I'd be shocked if he stayed more than 2 years.
As David Hood, said, it's not the same as what we've run the last 10 years (what Chad brought in, installed and then was later developed over the years).
With that said, how effective will Chad be early on as an Analyst. He'll have 6 weeks to study our offense and understand what schemes & plays will work vs early season defenses. I'd like to think he'll be able to digest the offense quickly and be a real asset this season.
Either way, I think it's great that The Chad is here. If he can find a few areas of weakness in opposing Defenses each week that can lead to 1 extra score each week, that will be great.

Chad will be great at studying opponent’s film and finding tendencies.

Maybe Chad can help Grisham find some receivers that can catch.

The last two years our receivers were caught off guard when a ball was actually thrown to them.

I tend to agree. It is probably just a way for Dabo to help him out while giving Chad an opportunity to learn the new offense, gain some experience, and possible go after another OC job elsewhere.
On the other hand, it doesn't hurt to have another set of experienced eyes helping out. He was also a very good QB coach, not that GR needs any help in that area.
I don't see any issues with this at all. At the end of the day, the analyst are not on the field and are really behind the scenes.

If there is ONE thing Chad did well, it was finding a weakness in the opposing teams' defenses.
And if there is ONE thing Chad didn't do well, it was sticking to his scheme when it didn't work.

He Used To Not Know How To Adjust!

I agree with this 100%
Chad Morris use to frustrate me to no end when teams had kind of gotten a bead on what he wanted to do. It was as if he had no backup plan in case his well schemed offense, was caught up to.
As an analyst, what he can learn and get better at if GR is as good as we think/hope is: "mid-game adjustments"! If he does plan on splitting or if the long-term plan is for him or Richardson to take the helm when GR takes a HC position!
People tend to learn the most through failure. I wouldn't call his time here a complete failure though; the team didn't always live up to expectations, but we put points on the board almost all the time. Heck, Drake Maye just last year broke one of Tajh Boyd's records and that was how long ago? Chad knows offense; and offense more than anything is what we have needed the last few years.
So, in my book, good call by Dabo bringing in another offensive mind.

Done are the days where we have long term coordinators like Elliot and BV.
People also dont except Riley to stay longer than two years either...

Just hoping his involvement does not muddle things up with our offense which was looking up to this point in time!
