Garrett Riley has to prove his Offense first for WR to come.

High profile wide receiver recruits want to go where they will be stars immediately out the gate, so it's going to take 1 or 2 years of Riley's Air Raid Offense being successful at Clemson to prove that it actually works here, and if it does, we will be WRU again.

I fully expect TJ Moore to be a national top 50 player overall by the time final rankings come out. IMO, he already should be.

Might have an impact but the players looking for an upfront NIL will still go elsewhere.

True. He was basically shutout by Georgia and our offense has sucked for.a couple of years before him. I am happy with what we have done in recruiting knowing who we have been. We do have to prove something though.

Jalin Hyatt came out of the same H.S. as Williams. Williams per Coach Knotts was the better player. That said, we all know how Hyatt lit it up L.Y.
I don't see anything wrong with our WR corps for all the complaining going on. Football isn't just played on the perimeter! A WR can be as good as he wants if we are predictable on O. Or other things going on that cause the WR's numbers to be off - can you accurately what you have at WR?
I think not.
Why wasn't Hyatt and the rest lighting it up before Heupel?
I.E. I think the thought that we have no WR talent is way off. Once we utilize them and are able to effectively get the football to them; they will look the part(if that makes sense).

We’re currently flush with WRs who were just as highly rated

… as Artavis Scott, Amari Rodgers, Mike Williams, Nuk Hopkins, Martavious Bryant, and several others.
We’ve seen guys who could have gone anywhere come to Clemson and leave without fulfilling their recruiting promise like Joe Ngata, EJ Williams, Frank Ladson.
Recruiting WRs has not been our problem the last couple of years.
First and foremost, our guys need to stay healthy. After that there has to be better coaching both on game day and developmentally to maximize what these WRs bring to the table.
… and oh yeah, the guy throwing the ball has to be much better than we’ve seen recently.
