Five in a row...

I am 40 years old and:

I remember Georgia Tech celebrating 5 in a row over UGA.

I remember Auburn celebrating 5 in a row over Alabama.


I don't ever remember Clemson celebrating 5 in a row over Scar (even though it has been done several times).

Likewise, Alabama over Auburn or UGA over Georgia Tech.



I guess that celebrating 5 in a row is what "little brother" does.

since the 30s

we have had several 4 baggers but never 5.

Including that one we've had seven 4-in-a-rows. But, we've never had five in row (except for the one seven in a row mentioned in the subject line).

We've had some ties that would have made for some long streaks (we tied in 1915 or it would have been a 7 game streak from 1913 - 1919)...but, we've only had one W streak of 7 games.

when were the "several times" Clemson won 5 in a row?

Also, when in the last 40 years did GT beat UGA 5 straight?

SCAR celebrated two in a row in 2010

And had tee shirts printed for 3 in a row. Little Brother Syndrome.

If we split the next two games they will have won 6 of 7. Which is exactly what we did right before their current run.
