Favorite things to do in Clemson in June

Jun 15, 2023, 3:05 PM

Lot of things to think about. I personally love getting out on the lake and going to eat downtown. But what’s y’all’s go to when it’s warm out in this little old town?

Needing some more ideas though, any suggestions?

session when I was there. We ended our run where Deliverance filmed that big hydraulic scene. Threw a small tube under that thing, and it still had not come up a half hour later.

BTW, I think it was later in the year, maybe late July. But, that didn't matter. The air temperature was 96. the WATER temperature was FITTY-FII! We floated six packs of beer down with us, and they got really cold.

So did any part of us that actually touched the water off our large tube.

That is going to look like too much fun to some viewers. We have under-aged recruits that could be looking on this site.

When I was there many, many moons ago, we went to the beaches to hang out and we fished a lot. We didn't have a boat, but we found a quite a few good areas to fish from the shore. Bought and drowned a lot of minnows, but caught a lot of fish. We would also explore up in the mountain regions and do some hiking. I'm from the coast so the mountains always held an allure.

No need to go downtown, we just stay at our lake house on Keowee and drink, play on the water and boat cruise.
