I was surprised the ESPN did not see the Clemson vs UGA opener as one of the most impactful for the 2024 playoff... but Boise State at Oregon did make it

and still be in the playoff as one of the 3-4 teams from the SEC so the game is of little impact when you look at it from that perspective. I do think if we win then we can get in the playoff without winning the ACC even playing close may be enough with a 10-2 or 11-2 year. I’m not one that believes the ACC is destined for 1 bid a year. On average, the ACC will probably get 2 every 3rd year or so. 3 would take something truly remarkable. Historically the ACC has had multiple teams in the CFP top 11 every few years.

We can and will win this game. It won’t mean much because we will get much better and so will UGA. Dabo will play this game very conservatively.
We could have won our last game with them if we had Trevor Lawrence or even Kelly Bryant. DJ wax awful and that gift he gave them changed the game. We had a few injuries that hurt us most of the season too.
We played a great UGA team and gave them the best game they had all season.
I think we will upset the SEC to make it 3 straight wins against the SEC and put Clemson back in the top 5! Can we hang on and not get upset by someone we shouldn’t because of turnovers later in the season.
We will beat FSU big because this team will be ready to prove we are the best in the ACC.

That’s bc we’re going to get hammered and then reality will finally set in for those who don’t want to admit that it’s not 2018 anymore.
The ratings may be high at kickoff but by halftime the only people left watching will be Georgia fans. It’s going to be a right out of the gate reality check for where this program actually is now.
I’m already prepared for it so y’all can save the… well we might as well not even show up and play the game.
Personally I can’t bet against Clemson bc my heart won’t let me but for anyone who can… take Georgia and bet the farm. Easy money

I wouldn't throw in the towel just yet. It's awful early and it is Georgia.
A lot can happen between now and kickoff when you look at , oh I don't know , their off the field activities for starters.
