, 3rd or 4th in the West and 3rd in the Atlantic this year. Probably 2nd in both Big 10 divisions Whatever they were.

They lost a close game to the 6th best in the SEC, lets not go overboard. ATM hasn't had a d all year, this isn't a revelation

Bama. And auburn has the 12th ranked d in sec. ATM, or, Johnny autograph, is the number one offense in sec.
Sumlin got out coached so bad by cutcliffe it isn't funny.

They won on two missed PI's and a last gasp interception.

Regardless, Duke surprised a whole lot of people...and it seemed there were a lot of non-Duke people cheering them on.

Exactly, How do they miss those pass interference calls? It wasnt like they werent obvious. Looked to me like they were wanting the ESECPN to win.

Surprisingly, even the SECish announcers commented

on both. Heard them say they were AAC refs....Maybe, they didn't approve of Duke's foray into possible football glory and thought, "What the heck? They need to focus on basketball...." lol

Duke played a very good game last night, but lets not pretend like A&M were SEC contenders this year.

ANY SEC team should crush ANY ACC team.
Frankly, Duke was jobbed a lot of the game. Remember the disputed touchdown at the end of the first half? Add those four points and we have a tie.
The missed PIs just stunk. Period.

I don't think anyone undersands your shoddily constructed response. Nobody thinks EVERY SEC team can beat EVERY ACC team. What are you talking about?
Duke proved themselves to be a legitimate competitive top 40 team last night. Clemson and FSU are both very good teams (FSU best in the nation), but the rest of the conference is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

If they would have finished behind 3 teams in the west and one team in the east that would make them the 5th best team in the SEC. As someone had mentioned they just proved they could beat the "6th best" team so how you came up me trying to portray anybody as an SEC contender must just be evidence of your superior intellect.
And if you try to argue they wouldn't have finished 2nd in both Big 10 divisions then I'll stop calling this an argument.

the only 2 things we know about duke are:
1) they are clearly the 2nd best team in the acc and
2)they are not as good as the 7th best team in the SEC
