High ankle sprain - 4-6 weeks maybe. Could have significant season ramifications. Hope he is okay though - heck of a QB.

It looked pretty bad on the replay. I’d be surprised if it’s only a sprain that keeps him out a couple of weeks. Whenever he does get back I’d have to believe his ability to burn you with his athleticism and running would be significantly compromised. That’s what makes Duke’s offense near impossible to stop. It was clearly a problem for even ND’s defense last night.

That said, you never want to see any player suffer injury but now that it’s happened………consider the likelihood of Duke dropping three conference games. They’ve still got NC State, FSU, Louisville and UNC on their schedule.

I personally don’t know that we deserve another shot at FSU but I’d love to have it.

we had an opportunity to win in regulation and lost in OT due to injured Wiggins being out the game. Ask Notre Dame about a rematch in the ACCCG after an OT win over Clemson in the regular season!

Silver lining is that Duke drops a few games and we have a chance to catch up to them in conference play.
