How unlikely would it be that after seeing FSU being so dominant against LSU on Saturday, the staff schemed to run 'old plays' for the first 3 games. Just because they did not want to give FSU good film? Thinking they could get away with it due to the talent of the first 3 games, and it just bit them in the #### with Duke. Would be a pleasant surprise to see a completely different scheme against FSU.
Would explain why the team is making so many mistakes, and why they seem out of sync.
Maybe these coaches really are playing a game of chess, and we are just thinking that they are playing checkers. Dumb thought, I know, but I can not say that it has not crossed my mind more than once. Just wishful thinking, I suppose.

That’s a silly myth about “separation”… propagated by a couple people who aren’t truly paying any attention to the 2nd and 3rd levels, where guys are running free nearly every pass play.

That is wishful thinking. If that were the case, the time to abandon that belief would have been at halftime of the Duke game. I once again believe this coaching staff doesn't trust it's qb and also the receivers are not creating enough separation. But one can always hope that is why the 1st 2 games went like they did.

100% agree that it is not the case, but obviously I am still in shock. Not that I've ever been a Cade pumper, but I still expected a little bit more... no I actually expected a lot more... that is why it is shock.

Personally IMO, I think that is exactly what happen bc our guys looked totally out of sink, but I also think it was a two headed monster that bit them in the A$$, and the second monster was bc of the inexperience of the staff on the offensive side of the ball. It's hard enough just to do what they've done all through fall camp, then to go into Wallace Wade with a change of plans aimed at not revealing anything to FSU as far as our new scheme turn out to be over their head bc of their lack of coaching experience.
Plus, being that the plays were from last seasons play book, Dabo was probably the one calling the plays bc Garrett's plays from his scheme are probably totally different. The plays that have been used to this point are most likely from the play sheet used in the ACC championship game, and the Tennessee game after playing some plays from Garretts play book in the spring game, and then from all of fall camp....

My last post, as my wait is over and I now can go back to more important things in life, but hey I do have to say thanks for the fun today, I really got a laugh out of it. But since you took the time to reply, and I am still on here I will give you the pleasure of a reply.
