Near campus? My son is transferring to Clemson from Kansas State this coming August. His high school buddies don’t have room and we need an inexpensive safe place to put him for at least a year.

Tiger Towne Village (changing their name to 864 Clemson) is a couple of miles off campus out past the golf course near the Old Stone Church. The two BR "farmhouses" are currently $914 per person per month with utilities and basic furniture included in that price.

It's mostly students with a few young families in the 3 BR units, and has been a quiet place the two years my daughter has been there.

They had some A/C issues back in the fall but no issues with the hard freeze that flooded other apts during Christmas 2022.

There needs to be more affordable Student Housing on-campus or near campus (walking distance). Students living miles away from campus does not build a community.

check with foothills realty and ask about the Oak Haven apts. don’t know if any available but about a 5 to 8 minute walk to campus… old units there but are n process of being renovated as clients move out…
