This is simple.
Wake Forest: we pull them for the remainder of the regular season. They will stay a top 10 team.
Syracuse: we pull for them against everyone but Wake Forest. They will finish 10-2 and top 15.
NC State: we pull for them against everyone but Wake and UNC. They will finish 8-4
UNC: we pull for them against everyone but Wake. They will be 10-2 and top 15 when we meet in the ACCCG.

If it plays out like this...
Wake will finish in the top 10, Cuse will finish in the top 15, and UNC will be ranked in the top 15 when we play them. Add on wins against NC State when Leary was healthy and FSU.
Nobody will be able to question our strength of schedule.

We may need it to work out this way. It feels like a one loss UGA, Tenn, or Bama will get a nod over us. Then there's also a one loss Ohio State or Michigan.
It feels like we need Wake, Syracuse, and UNC to keep winning. If they slip up and fall in the rankings, we could see ourselves jumped by those potential one loss teams mentioned above.

I hate to say it...
But, we might also need South Carolina to keep winning. If they're 8-3 when they play us, they'll be ranked around 20. It would be nice to add another ranked opponent in the win column. UL, ND, and Miami have no shot at being ranked. So UofSC is our last hope until the ACCCG.

Slight edge to Cuse here. If ND misses a bowl game then an ACC squad would take their place and we'd get a cut.

Me too! I’d stoop so low as to pull for the cluckers if they played nd. That is absolutely the only case I’d pull for them (the cluckers).

I don't care but if Cuse loses, they will drop out of the Top 25 which will hurt the ACC and our strength of schedule.
