Defensive secondary key to 2023 success

I’m as guilty as everyone else focusing on the offense and wondering if Cade will step into the qb role, if the OL will gel and if the WR’s will step up and play better….

BUT….

I think the real key to success this year is the secondary. We have a chance to be exceptionally special and maybe even dominant on defense with the strength on the line and at backer. But for that to happen, we need to see a step change in the performance at corner and safety.

I think we have the talent and experience in place to do just that. They are tough positions where the mistakes get highlighted though. What do y’all think?

A healthy Mukumba paired with Mickens. Also Nate the Great on the corner should only leave one hole in the secondary and I think Pride has a breakout year.

I feel like the secondary on defense is just as deep as the line and linebacker spots.

Please explain how our linebacker group is deep. First group is ultra talented, yes, but depth?
