The Chad was coming back to Clemson. He reminded Matthews that The Chad was OC when Nuk and Sammy were lighting it up on the field at Clemson. A few days later Matthews announces a commitment date. Maybe Dabo has closed the deal with Matthews. Yes The Chad will not be the OC, but having him back on staff has to help.

18 year old. Probably has no idea who Chad Morris is. If hiring Garrett Riley as OC wasn't enough to convince the guy to come, then hiring Morris as a non-coaching member of the staff won't either.

Now, he may choose Clemson. But, if he does, I doubt that Morris has any influence on his decision.
