Lol, 3 of the last 4 games are one posession. Not sure what they says about your talent post above. Of course Clemson crushes Cuse talent wise, but that hasn't meant jack on the field. You know this, yet still predict a blow out YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR. Its like groundhogs day.

Since Dino has been coaching Syracuse they have given the Tigers a fight almost every game. There have been exceptions of course, but for the most part Syracuse is a competitive game. I don't expect this year to be any different, but I still like our chances at winning.

No, 2 of the last 3 are 1 possession and 4 of the last 9 are 1 possession.
We won by 4+ possessions in 2019 and 2020
2017- Lost Kelly Braynt
2018- Lost Trevor Lawernce
2021- Played everyone close
2022- Lost DJ (To the turnover bug, 3 in the redzone, 4 total)
If we turn the ball over more than twice we will be in trouble, otherwise I will take us by 2+ scores

Duke game should tell you all you need to know

about how "talent" is not what wins a game.
Yes Clemson is more talented than every ACC team as well as 95% of programs across the country.
Execution, ball security, clock management and max effort is what winning football looks like.
Syracuse plays Clemson tough, and a 4-0 Syracuse team playing a 2-2 Clemson team will have that squad full of confidence. I am not sure of their opponents or margins of victories because it does not really matter, they are undefeated through 4 football games.
Clemson will need to get ahead and stay ahead. A nice fast start is needed and for the defense to bend but not break, a staple of the BV defenses of the past. Again, IMO the defense has been just fine. Not as dominant but in no way has the defense been the issue this year. The guys do need more push up the middle and get to QB which will help, but overall they have played well.
Go Tigers, fight hard and knock the Orangeguys from the undefeated ranks!!!

We’ve got everybody in the ACC beat roster wise.
And this is why the only time we lose, if it because of mistakes Clemson made. Not ever at all about the other team plain smoking is. Except for Notre Dame last year. But they had a great team.

Often times a game will be won by the guys who want it the most.
Some teams absolutely refuse to lose.
Some teams play like a win is a sure thing. Those teams often have a looong flight home.
Talent wins a lot of games. Heart and desire wins more.
Not long ago I sat and watched a team take the field in Durham NC who knew they were going to win. It was a long ride back to the mountains after that miserable night of non football by the guys I support 100 %. Sure hope Saturday isn’t a repeat performance but ..... the Cuse will be a tough out. I promise.

Clemson is more talented and has played a MUCH tougher schedule to this point. As long as the players have their heads right after a brutal loss, Clemson should win this game along both lines of scrimmage.

Syracuse seems to always be amped for this game, and they've got dudes who can play. Up to our boys how they respond

On paper you have a great point. Clemson has the stars, no doubt about it! But, I do want to say our coaches have increased our quality of athlete substantially since the first time we upset CU in the dome in 2017. We are taller, larger, faster and quicker than we used to be in the last 20 or so years. We know we cannot compete for recruits head to head with the likes of CFB powers like CU. But, again we have gotten creative recruiting. Our talent evaluation is excellent for the prowess of SU. We find under valued guys who have assets physically and we are all about player development. I think you will be surprised how well our athletes match yours. Does that mean cuse win? No not at all. Our defense plays pretty nasty with tenacity and grit. They will not be over powered. Now the biggest issue for a team who doesn’t have depth like CU is at our WR spot. We are without our pre season all American TE/WR and our next best receiver is likely out as well. This is the biggest difference in this game for us. Can our wide outs step up? If they do we will have a close fight through the 4th.
