Went to my first clemson hockey game today, the team is D2 now and plays home games up in Greer at the Ice Station. Tough loss to Vandy but a good time and only $5 tickets with kids going free. They don’t have many games per season, but it’s nice to see some kids playing for the love of their game. Would highly recommend taking the family to a game if you have a chance!

I always thought 'icing in' Littlejohn for Hockey and freeing up the $$ from the BB program would be a winner. However, now that the Lady Gym Tigers are packing Littlejohn, I guess it's a no go.

Man that would be awesome. I’m sure the players would love it. They have to drive an hour each way just to practice, that’s dedication!

correction.... way better than roundball. the Men's and Women's kickball is pretty awesome. basketball, not so much on both sides.....

I live in MN now. Hockey is likely the second favorite sport here. I have always liked watching hockey and I would have loved to play when I was younger but obviously that was not going to happen in SC. The bad thing is. It seems the kids that play hockey, that is all they do.

I am from MN.... I learned to skate when I learned to walk. Please tell me what sport is more popular in MN than hockey? Unless things have changed drastically since 1995, I can not imagine any sport that would come close to hockey.
Basketball is what you did in the winter if you didn't know how to ice skate.
