Clemson-Baylor matchup

Baylor rains threes on teams and are decent on the offensive glass.

But having watched them against the Horns, they also turn the ball over -- they're an assembled (portal) group of individual scorers not a particularly great team if that makes sense.

Therefore, Clemson CAN BEAT the Baptists by owning the glass and NOT PANICKING if they go on a early run.

IF Girard and (Chase) Hunter have big days, they'll win.

I agree with your assessment. The Bears rain threes at a high rate. That’s also the type of teams that have given us fits play. We aren’t good at forcing turnovers either.

Yesterday was one of the rare times we played as a team and the players worked hard on offense to get open. Our guys were also looking to feed each other. We haven’t done that well when we’ve lost games we shouldn’t. Hunter is usually a liability and yesterday he was a huge asset. If we get great guard play, we have a chance. I’ve said all along that this team could beat anyone in the country. Even Kenny Smith said the same thing. It’s the coaching adjustments I don’t trust. It’s the lack thereof or the boneheaded management at end of game I don’t trust. I’ll be pulling hard in spite of knowing Brownell’s history.

Our speed and athleticism were too much for them. They do not have the caliber of athletes we were used to seeing in League play night in and night out. Our guards were able to blow by them for easy layups, this is why Chase Hunter Had a career night, he was able to drive to the hoop and create his own shots at will. They had some fight in them, but at the end of the day, our speed and length were too much for them, as evidenced by the turnover margin.

That is just my 2 cents.

Them being Baptists is noteworthy? Is calling some one a Baptist an insult?

I need some context on why this matters

Baylor is a Baptist university.

Interesting point, here are there starting five:

C Missi - Freshman
F Bridges - Sr., lone returning starter and 2nd year transfer from West Virginia
G Walters - Freshman
G Nunn - Jr., first year transfer from VCU
G Dennis - Grad., first year transfer from Toledo. Third school

It's a real testament to the coach's ability. The more games they play I'm sure they'll get better but they are a little up and down. Their leading scorer is a Freshman who goes on cold streaks and shoots just 37%. They also commit their fair share of turnovers. PG Dennis is averaging five a game in his last seven.

It's turnovers and outside game that

can get them into trouble against Clemson's experience and inside game.
