Defense has been excellent recently, and it’s great to see his shot falling for him too.

Plus, he took care of the ball. Six assists and no turnovers against Tech.

to do this year vs. last. He's not a "true" PG and the learning curve with the addition of Girard coming in as a sniper took time to develop.

I can't imagine what that guard combo could do together with another year or two, together, sadly. 😔

I think on tv they said Chase had a covid year left if he chooses to use it. Don't know if he will or if that is accurate. TV guys sometimes say lots of stuff

I think he lost some of his Alpha dog in respect to Girard, but got it back, when Girard started bavng too many turnovers dribbling and passing very evident in last few minutes of NC State game.

instinct with a guy that shoots like 94% from the FT line is that you always want to get the ball into his hands late in games when you have a lead and the other team may start fouling.

Unfortunately, hes been really lose with the ball in these situations and has been prone to turning it over under pressure before the other team has to commit to fouling and putting him on the line.

He has come to understand his ability to drive the ball is a huge weapon. Standing outside and jacking up 3's is not really his game, although he has started shooting the ball better lately.

I think he has really grown as a player, Saturday is a huge test and I hope his driving can lead to some really easy baskets for other guys!

Just like girard , hunter is very important for this team to accomplish what ppl think they are capable of… his shooting wasn’t near as bad as it showed for alot of the season and now is as good a time as ever for it to start falling for him… he’s def capable and good to see him coming through
