The city of Louisville is a great town! If folks have a bad experience here thats unfortunate, but that is not the norm. I hope many Clemson fans can come experience for themselves. They may not like our football team but I am confident they will enjoy themselves while they are here.

As a Cardinal fan, my mind says we are playing the national Champs and they should win. Reading some of the comments about how your D is gonna stop LJ are nuts though. You all have a great defense no doubt, but they are not that much better than last year. Ill remind you LJ had 457 yds in your house. Hell Boulware had 18 tackles. Some of your fans thinking you are gonna be more successful away from home is irrational exuberance amd are living in a fantasy world. Like every game we have played in this series it will most likely come down to the last play.
As a general fan of college football I am not sure how you all are sold on Bryant yet. He is no DW. I am pretty confident if a gun were held to your head it would be a much different story. My biggest concern is if Jaire Alexander our first team All American Safety doenst play. The fact is most of our defensive talent are freshman. The truth of the matter losing to you in DV helped our recruiting significantly. We had our best class in school history, BUT THEY ARE STILL FRESHMAN!!!
Speaking for me personally I am not coming to your board to be an ridiculous idiot. I appreciate the banter. Most of your fans are smart college football fans. Its refreshing. However on the flip side some are idiots who seem to only follow whats going on in the sport this time of year and DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.

Beaux, my man, stay tuned Saturday night and watch the best defense in college football. Kelly Bryant is no Deshaun Watson, there is no one saying he is, but your defense leaves a LOT to be desired, and LJ is THE most sacked quarterback in college football the last year or so. Your offensive line is weak, very weak, and will be exploited a lot worse than what Purdue did to them. You guys lost, what, four games last year, including your last 3??? You scored a whole 9 points against LSWHO and 10 against Houston. Don't think LJ can't be stopped, and Brent Venables has the tools and coaching to do that to you again. Boulware had 18 tackles. Guess what, our LB crew is better this year based on depth, and experience. Watch out for Joseph and ODaniel to make an impact. You and your fellow cardinal fans are coming over here bragging and showing your butts, again, against the defending national champions. You've played two equally pathetic defenses and let a freshman move the ball at will against your defense before he got hurt. DO SOMETHING before coming over and running your mouth. You got nothing to stand on.

Do your homework Yes LJ has been sacked 48 times in two years. 46 times last year and 2 times this year. Our line is not the same. I am not coming here saying our line is great because I dont know. But ummmm you dont either. I know the line this year as opposed to the line on the team you barely beat last year has added significantly more skill and beef.

I think it will be a great battle but in the end, Clemson shows why it has the best defensive line in all of college football. I just hope you're here tomorrow night to receive your comeuppance

Now what we do know. You wont be stopping LJ!!! You saying you have more depth shows how little you know about your own team. I have seen at least three times where folks are saying that if Clemsons D has any deficiencies its their lack of depth. You will never hear me say we are gonna win, but listening to you tell me how dominate youll be this time in our house makes me smile!!!

You've never beaten Clemson , not with Cole Stoudt , not with Deshaun Watson...and it is highly unlikely that you will do it with Kelly Bryant .
I like LJ as a player , he is exciting to watch . Humbly I submit though , if he had some better accoutrement most of our fans would be a little more worried .
I don't think we blow ya'll out , but I do expect to win and do so convincingly .

I would have thought you would have gotten us after DW4 went down on the 2nd drive in 2014 . Stoudt played just well enough and of course our defense made stops.
That is what I expect this go around . Bryant needs to protect the football and hit some downfield recievers for it to work , but I have no doubt that our defense will contain and frustrate LJ .
I think its a 10 point game in favor of the Tigers , but I tend to go conservative against decent opponents on the road .

How so? With all those, your D was always in the top 10...now ranked #72-73. What in that says to you your defense wI'll stop Bryant.
AND I really love seeing you guys talk about how our D didn't stop Jackson...no mention of being down 28-10 at the half, no mention of 23 of 26 points answered off turnovers...
Keep thinking how you do....but Lamar needed Clemson turning the ball over several times to even have a chance to change the momentum that was clearly not going his way for an entire half. Also needed a missed wide open paas and a lucky diving catch to get the first turnover of the 3rd quarter, seeing Ray Ray was not covered on that play when he popped the ball in the air.

Guess you missed in that half, Venables quit blitzing, dropped Boulware back in coverage more, and that's who Lamar exploited quite a bit in that 2nd half. Guess what LB is no longer there to exploit, and was replaced with a 5 star that's faster and better at pass coverage.

Good, I'm glad it made you smile but you played against two BAD defenses your first two games. No such luck in this game. Do YOUR research.
