Why wouldn't you have a player who hasn't shot over 70 in 19 of his last 20 rounds. I think Zack Johnson is certainly looking for the guys that are playing their best prior to the Ryder Cup. Lucas would certainly be toward the top of that list!

Alternate Shot Teammate as he rarely puts you in any trouble off the tee. He is an above average ball striker with the short game to go along with it . . . and whether you trust his putter or not . . . lately it’s a weapon!!!
He may not be the ideal Best Ball Teammate as his # ot birdies per round is not elite . . . but he’ll give you 3-4 per round almost every day.

ball safely on the green, it's a lot easier to go "flag hunting", as the consequences of a miss are highly reduced. So, number of birdies could go up, or down.

I think Corbin Mills played some on Latinoamérica a few years back. Also, Neal Ajubita played a full season in 2019 after qualifying at Latinoamérica Q school. I don't believe he ever played golf collegiately, but he is a Clemson grad.

hates everything!" So, for that particular individual to heap all this (well deserved, I might add) praise on Lucas is extraordinary, indeed. And, like him or not, Chamblee did play the Tour for awhile, so he knows whereof he speaks.
Congrats again, Lucas. Now, go get McIlroy this week in the first two rounds, and you will REALLY raise some eyebrows. They don't have much choice but to make that a "featured group" on some of the early streaming coverage, everybody seemingly loves them some Rory, and Lucas is a great ongoing story. It's going to be great.
