Gotta love it. Just look at our commits now... and they still have a senior year to get even better. Really could be our best class ever and coupled with who (we hope) will still be here. Wowsa. I agree Blake.

This is the type of attitude we’ve been missing at the games most vital position.
We’ve been missing a QB that has “it”. That ability to put the team on his back and flat out refuses to lose.
Everybody here be honest… when DW4 and TLaw were under center… no matter what the score or the situation… did any of us ever truly feel like we were going to lose? Bc I sure as h*ll never did with those 2.
I know we lost a couple with each but my point is I never once went into a game expecting to lose with those 2.
I’ve been really hard on Dabo the last year plus but he seems to have righted the coaching staff mistakes and we’re already seeing dividends in recruiting.
We’ve been missing those dawgs. Those guys that won’t let the team lose. Hebert seems to fit this mold. Hopefully some of these big time guys on defense come with this same attitude.

When DW4 or TL16 had the ball in their hands and needed to drive down the field and score, I always knew we were going to win the game. Not “thought” or “wished” or crossed my fingers and “hoped” it might happen.. I KNEW it. Don’t know how to describe that feeling, but I miss it.

As I recall Cade pretty much did that in the final drive against Kentucky. Kentucky may not be a great team but Cade’s no quit in that game has me hoping he’s reached that plateau and confidence in himself to go out and put the drive we need to win the big games. Sometimes it just takes that moment.

The thing with Cade is the deer in the headlights moments, and more than a few. With DW4 and TL16 it’s hard to recall that kind of reaction even a few games into their career. Maybe poor clock awareness on the goal line, but Cade’s done that too. Anyhow, it unfair to compare Cade to those guys. They were at a whole different level. What we want from Cade is to improve his technicals, play with more confidence, but purge the hero ball from his game.
