Jacob and Sam both need a great tourney. Sadly, Jacob's play on the weekend last week actually dropped him down 1 spot in the points to 29th. He's teetering on the edge but a top 10 finish and he could relax a bit. Top 3 would all but wrap up his card.
Sam sits at 47 which means he needs a top 5 finish to make headway. Obviously we want one to win.

Something ain't right with Alice. She mentioned in a recent interview that she had a new ball fitting that she seems to be able to control more. Hopefully it's just something simple like that. Let's pray it's not illness or injury.

She hasn’t been the same since she came to the USA to play on the “Left Coast” on her “Mum’s” birthday!!! Up until then she was as competitive as I’ve seen her. Something has changed. So far today, she has 2 pars, 6 bogeys and a double bogey in her Opening 9!!! 🤮
Jacob continues to climb!!! Clean card, 4 under through 15 Holes and currently T-2nd Place!!!
Lucas is 2 Under through 4 Holes and is in the early Lead!!!

Lucas is 3 Under through 12 Holes with a 5’8” putt for birdie on Hole #13 . . . He is currently T-4th Place.
Rory is @ Even Par through his first 6 Holes.

Lucas missed his birdie putt to remain @ 3 Under.
Rory eagled the Par 5, 16th Hole (his 7th of the day) . . . He is now 2 Under!!!

Agree with your statement above about the us women's open. Perhaps this correlates with her ball fitting and change with titelest. Gutty comeback on the back nine. She at least gave herself a fighting chance. Also very relieved it doesn't appear to be injury related.
Having a shot breakdown like the PGA would help but if you look at her stats:
2/5 sand saves
Driving distance is 242 but not sure how that's calculated. 10/15 fairways.
Skeet, could be as simple as playing on her home turf so to speak. She mentioned in her interview that the entire team was there with her. That's a rarity and then fam and friends. 🤷
The big one is 9/18 GIR and 32 putts.

Lucas’ birdie on his closing hole secured his 4 Under Round and has settled him into a T-5th Place . . . just 3 shots off the Lead.
MyfavOrange® ‘s Pick, Rory, finished his Opening Round @ 3 Under and in a T-15th Place.
KORN FERRY TOUR
@ The Pinnacle Bank Championship . . .
Jacob had a nice day . . . Shooting 5 Under puts him in a T-6th Place and also 3 shots off the Lead.
Sam shot 1 Under and is currently in a T-55th Place.

Jacob knows we (his tnet fanclub) is taking bets on what he eats after first round on the road. He really does appreciate the support.
He's good friends with many. He's really good friends with Chris Gotterup. Several weeks he's taken pics at the neat and unique restaurants they've eaten at.
2 weeks ago it was sushi
